now i have to slow down

so there is a certain cross walk in town that is known for running people down...well more like the drivers don't notice those that are crossing. it is a double lane road with a speed limit of 35. (one of the few in town) a student was hit dec '07 and they put in these blinking lights so that the drivers can see that someone is crossing /about it to cross/just crossed the street. well that didn't help much. two women were just hit a week ago. a 70 and 51 year old. the 70 yr old didn't make it. so they put a big sign in the middle of cross walk, and LOWERED the speed limit to 25!!! that road is now sooooooooo slow!
