ultrasound

do to the fact there is someone in the family who would like to be surprised, i'm putting this up before an easter post. so if you don't want to know what the sex of the baby is....STOP reading now.
















so two weeks ago i went to go and see the dr for a checkup. i thought that she would do an ultrasound with a check up, but i guess not because she said that i could have one in two weeks! so i took it. i mean, compared to waiting another 4 weeks....

andrew got the morning of the 26th off. i had originally scheduled it for 10am, but rescheduled it for 9. crazy i know. but i figured that way, andrew wouldn't have to go to work for a little bit and then go to the ultrasound. wow it was early. next time i will schedule it for a friday afternoon.

we get to polson, a little late, but not too bad. the tech was in surgery and so she was running late because of that. it only took 30 mins for us to get in there and get out. i had a somewhat full bladder. (no one called me from the office to confirm the appt, so i didn't know that i need to be that way until i called to see where i needed to check in at. so i spent the 30 min drive drinking water) i laid down and she looked at a few things (placenta, blood around it etc)and then sent me to the bathroom. then she went on to look at everything else. started to have a ton of lower back pain. like so painful, i thought that i was going to be sick with the pain. so she moved the bed around, it didn't help much, so i finally laid on my side that helped a lot. it was alittle hard to see it's bottom, so we got a look and then came back later to double check. yep. we are having a girl.

now we can start stocking up on girly things. i'm happy that i know BEFORE garage sales start this time! besides clothes, the only other thing that we need is a carseat. i also need to finish going through sterling's closet so that i can go through the clothes that we do have, so i know that we have and what we will need.
