on sunday we had stake conference because our stk president moved and so they were calling a new one. i stayed home with the kids because we had andrew's work party at 1 and carlee HAD to have a nap before then. andrew got home from church and we loaded up the kids and headed to stuart's christmas party. i call it stuart's party because includes the employees from cenex and napa. it's held at the bowling lanes in ronan. we enjoy going every year, but some years are harder when you have a child that just wants to walk around and run down the lanes. it normally lasts about 3 hours and i think everyone is pretty much ready to go by then. santa made an appearance! he had a gift for every child there. when he showed up, he picked quincey up and she sat on his lap until it was someone else's turn.
santa gave her elf on a shelf (NOOOO!) but she seems to like him.
sterling eventually got his turn.
he got two cars that make noise! they also drive froward and backwards.
i made sure that carlee got a turn too.
her reaction was pretty much what we expected. but she also was do for another nap, so you can't blame her. her gift was a pet ball. you can see it in the next picture. it folds into a ball. it didn't take long for her to fall asleep in the car.
we talked to the kids about the elf. his name is princess george (to satisfy both kids). i told andrew it's up to him to do the work. i'm not doing it.
