memorial day

we decided to do something on memorial day since we didn't do anything on the saturday before. we went to mesa falls. they are about an hour northeast of rexburg and part of the snake river (henry's fork). it was a beauitfully sunny day.

here's upper mesa falls. that is a hunk of snow and a rainbow. there was a trail that you could hike to get to the lower falls, but we decided to save that for another day.

we had a great time and look forward to going again. the only thing that we might do differently was pack a lunch.
