my family drove the day after school out to montana. they arrived wed the 20, just before midnight. they had a short stop in spokane to visit with jason and andrea. since we knew that they would be getting in late, andrew decided to work half of thurs. this turned out just fine, since my family did, in fact sleep in. here is thurs(the 21st) in pictures:
this was a common sight. C is wrapped quincey's finger. she loved playing with him as much as he did.
does this remind you of the movie, UP?
quincey and C played with his glasses for sometime. he even let her stick her hand in his mouth (i'll spare you the picture and video of it). even though he didn't like her snot on him. at all. funny boy!
wrapped tightly...
typical C face. you will see more of this later.
once quincey was done playing with C, she got to play and sit on T's lap.
aren't you a handsome boy T. thanks for letting me chew on your pencil.
i took the kids outside to see the yard etc. there is I, me, T, quincey and A.
they pulled a few weeds in the strawberry patch. i should have made them made them do the same thing in the garden....
andrew got home from work just as we were about to leave to pick up sterling from school. i was going to keep him home, but i'm glad that i didn't. he missed monday, because he wasn't feeling well and needed the rest. so i sent him because of that and because my family would sleep in and there was no need for him to miss school, if they were just going to sleep.
once we got home from picking sterling up from school, we headed up to the lake. andrew and i drove over (in the boat) to our favorite polson park with the kids. we beat my parents, who drove the van over. i got out with quincey so that i could feed her. andrew took the kids out for a little joy ride before coming back to pick my dad and ollie up.
one full boat. quincey was not very happy about having to get sunscreen on.
waiting for andrew to return.
i told you, we would see more of C's faces. the park is in the background.
my dad and my sisters. aka the sisters club
here is A on the tube. she was the only hainsworth who was willing to get into the water. she was not in her swimming suit, but that's ok. the boys changed into their's but wouldn't get into the tube. wimps. andrew and sterling also went for a tube ride, of course. this should be a given. i think they go out every time we go to the lake.
we all wondered why C looks like he is sleeping....
while the family was out on the boat, my mom, me and quincey went and did a little shopping at walmart. my mom needed to get some sewing supplies. she got some fabric, thread etc for some towels that her and the girls were going to make while in utah.
when we got home my dad and A took my kids on a walk. sterling walked while quincey was in the stroller. ollie also went and kept quincey entertained. they walked down the street to our neighbor who has free range chickens.
free range chicken
I's birthday was the next day so we celebrated it that evening. i made cream cheese stuffed strawberries from Our Best Bites cookbook. then i covered them in hot fudge. we at all 4 lbs of them!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY I!!!!!
I eating the biggest strawberry of the bunch.
C and quincey. she is really pale compared to C.
sterling, who has enjoyed strawberries and hot fudge.
while I was opening her gifts, i got quincey ready for bed. my mom couldn't help herself.
she likes to play peek a boo. if it's with her clothie or just you hiding and peeking from around the corner. here, she is using her pj's.
where is quincey?
my dad read books to sterling before bed. quincey was already asleep and in bed at this point.
a flower (i can't think of the name right now) that i just cut from our yard.
