happy birthday

"happy happy birthday from all of us to you! we wish it was our birthday, so we could party too!"  - from the emperor's new groove.

today is my 27th birthday. there are a lot of things to think about, but it's a little hard when my eyes want to shut. you see, my darling little baby girl woke up crying, then screaming this morning. andrew didn't move. well, i think he rolled over. i knew by the light in my room that i was NOT going back to bed once i got up. so i went to the bathroom. said little girl settled down....i got back in bed.

few mins later....

repeat crying and screaming.

sigh. still not much movement on the other side of the bed. it is my birthday after all....

i get her up and give her breakfast. wait, it's not even 6 yet! (this is going to be a long day. i hope i get a good nap) what does she do?!?!? fall asleep! really! laid her down on the floor, wrapped in a blanket while i ate, showered and got dressed. still not a lot of movement in our bed. though, it's after 7. 


i could go on, but i won't. i'm waiting impatiently for my nap....
