andrew told me that sterling should have a friend party this year. i didn't want to put together his party, because it's a lot of work. but he didn't have a friend party last year....so we decided to put one together. i kept thinking how much i couldn't wait for him to be old enough to do some of himself.
anyway, he said he wanted a toy story party. i worried that he would change his mind but he did not. whew! he had 5 friends come plus 7 siblings of those friends. some of those siblings i knew were coming, some i did not, but i had extra goodie bags just in case.
the kids showed up a little after noon. they ate pizza and veggies with dip. we had cake, so that we could get the eating out of the way. the kids played downstairs for a little bit. the adults followed with the piñata and pin the badge on woody and buzz game. then we all went back up stairs for presents.
sterling went right for this gift. i think because it had super hero wrapping paper on it and it's starting to get into those. (spiderman mostly) it was also his favorite gift. if i had known what was in it i wouldn't hid it and had him open it at the end. above he had his 3 friends from school and then jason on the left.

buzz from toy story! he sits on RC.
i think he enjoyed most of his gifts. he has played with all of them. we gave most of his friends hugs after opening their gifts.
now i have to get him to write thank you's..........
