the rest of may

5/1:quincey looks great in skirts. i love how they swish back and forth when she walks. but she likes to take them off and put them back on. above, you can see what it looks like when she puts them on herself. most of the time, if she's wearing a skirt, i will let her go around skirt-less until we have to leave the house. the green on is actually 2T so i was trying it on to see if it fit her. 

5/3: now that we have a nice new couch, it's become the prime spot for watching movies. mostly because of it's location to the tv. this one i look from the kitchen, which is why it's not very clear. they sometimes fight over this spot. 

5/17: andrew has banned quincey from eating nutella. she won't eat it like a normal person would eat a sandwich. she has to open the sandwich and then press the bread right to her face so she can bite the middle....if she is going to eat it; it's best that she's naked.

5/24:  found these sandals that one or more of my siblings wore. i tried them on quincey and they fit her, but she didn't like them at all. 

5/29: sterling asleep in the hall with his new bedding. this month, we moved quincey into a toddler bed and sterling into a twin bed. since we only have twin bunk beds, sterling's mattress is on the floor. i took sterling to target to get some new sheets since the ones that happened to be on it were a little girly. i thought that he would pick out cars, or toy story or even spider man. but he picked out angry birds! really!? i know that he's played that game a few times at home, but maybe he plays it with his friends or after speech. 

sterling has almost always fallen asleep in the hall or so it seems like. there have been times when we made him stay in his room or at least staying in his doorway. now that quincey is in a toddler bed, she has more freedom. she doesn't mind having the door shut, sterling hates it. so we get them ready for bed. sterling moves to the hall to fall asleep and we shut the door so that quincey will stay in her room and go to bed. 

5/30: quincey helping with the dishes.
