Happy Half Birthday

on thursday, sterling turned 6 mo. i know it's not a big deal but since it's his half birthday and sometimes you look for any reason to party. the only bad thing was that he was being fussy that night and we totally forgot about it. good thing he doesn't know.

sterling can sit up by himself, though he still falls sometimes. he prefers sitting to laying down or being on his tummy. while sitting he can reach for his toys and if they are close enough sit back up.

he enjoys pulling all his toys out of the little bucket.

he likes to suck on his toes.

he likes playing with his dad and splashing in the bath.

he still enjoys his jump up.

he likes to be where he can see us. so if we're in the kitchen he wants to be in there with us or at least where he can see us from the living room.

i've been told that he does make mama sounds when i'm not around. sometimes he crys when i leave for class.

he doesn't take a bottle anymore. he gags on his solid food, even when it's not so soild.

his rubber chicken is something that can entertain him for a while. he likes to pull on it so it makes a snaping sound. once he gets teeth or is able to pull part of it off he's done playing with it.

i realize that he's not in focus and the glider is, but i....can't really remember what did.

when chewing on chicken heads, it's important to drool a lot. can't it tell? it's hanging right there on his chin.

we sure love this little boy!
