The Move

(all pictures where taken march 26-31) it seemed like we would have enough boxes and then i would fill them up and need to go get more. i'm glad we had a bigger car so that i was able to pick up at least 16 apple boxes. that's even with sterling in the car with me. as we started to pack up our belongs, sterling, we think started to wonder what was happening to everything, but he didn't seem to mind. he reached new heights.

yes, he did climb up there himself.

the master bedroom, packed up and ready to be loaded into the truck.

we think that the kitchen required the most boxes. thought it's hard to measure since andrew packed it and used his clothing as padding. this was taken on monday the 29. we planned to pack the truck that evening. luckily, andrew didn't have to work since his last day was the 26th.

andrew spend the morning repacking some of the stuff to make sure it all fit and what we hadn't packed yet out fit. this is the back of the truck, just before we loaded ourselves up to head out. it was raining as we pulled out.

front of the truck and our apt. our neighbor, bradyen; andrew's coworker, cameron and ralph (who was the scout leader) came to help us load the truck up. dave, our landlord also helped by driving the forklift.

welcome to montana! i missed getting a good picture of the sign. i would've stopped but sterling was asleep and it may have been snowing or raining.
we got to the house at about 5.15pm, which was earlier than i had planned, but only by about 15 mins. andrew showed up not too much later. andrew's friend, kory came over to help andrew unpack the heavy things. since andrew was able to back the truck up to the front door, it made it easy to unpack. here is the front room. it no longer looks like this. if it's messy, it's because of sterling. i can't wait to move his toys downstairs. it does have new carpet, which is really nice.

the kitchen was the first thing to be unpacked. it may still have some rearranging to be done. the next big purchase will be a dining room table. on wed the 31st we went to missoula to return the truck and buy a fridge. we got a kenmore, bottom freezer for about $600. it was used(it had been delivered and didn't fit or they didn't like it) and so they couldn't sell it new.

sterling's room. his is the only room that doesn't have boxes in it.

the view of the mission mountins from our dining room window.
