rocks

sterling discovered the rocks that are out in front of the house. he fits perfectly in between the sidwalk and house. i love the look on his face. this was taken yesturday afternoon. he was playing in the dirt before i got a break in dinner (i was making white bean potato soup) and could join him. poor rainbow. i put another dish out for her. and yesturday i noticed that the smaller one was missing and the big that i put out for her water was in the dirt with sterling. maybe santa will bring her a nice dish. i think she deserves it. i also found a dead mouse outside my doorstep yesturday. i made andrew take care of it before he came in for dinner.
