my plants

i have been trying to tell myself that i can grow things. i mean who can't. oh, my mom. yes, she has said that she can't, but she did well with that tree.... here's proof that i can grow things.

look at these pretty yellow flowers! i "love" that they are everywhere. you want a close up? why? because you don't believe that they are pretty?

see! told you so! (you know when they go to seed...well sterling found one today and i tried to get him to blow it; which i know andrew will thank me for. in the end he just ended up learning to pull the heads off) so now off to my next plant.

these babies are all over the back yard. since there is so much dead grass in the yard, andrew was hoping that they may have died too. it's "good" to see them thriving.

with all this rain, my plants have done very well. can't you tell? these long and skinny dears are up to the bottom of my knees. trust me. i measured twice.

of course i forgot to take a picture of the actual plant that is growing in a pot on the carport. i don't know how well it's doing, but i think that it has grown since andrew put it in there.....he also bough seeds for our garden today, so we'll finally get that going.

looking through my pictures, i found this one. it's from the apple trees in the backyard. don't i have the greenest thumb you have ever seen???
