on friday (the 9th) night andrew's dad and brother came to visit. they left after austin's last class, so they didn't get up here until about 11pm. the kids and i were already in bed.
saturday (10th):
garr and the kids. i think sterling is watching "air bud".

on saturday we just hung out most of the day. the men went to post creek to see about some equipment that was needed. they stopped at the general store on the way home. we had lunch, then nap time. there was a baptism at 2, so andrew and i went. garr and austin played with sterling. they ran around in the fields, played on the round bales etc. sterling enjoyed playing with them both. austin got to hang out with his friends in missoula on saturday night and most of sunday. he also hung out with those that live in mission on monday. he didn't end up going snowboarding while here, but he has the rest of his spring break to do that in park city.
these pictures were taken just before bed on monday (12th) evening.....
i included this picture because of sterling. he wanted to stand there in the front. such a little kid thing to do right?
i picked this one because of andrew's face. he's tried of pictures and ready for the kids to get in bed. also quincey has her tongue out.
i saved the worst pictures for last. after dinner, garr and andrew went outside to get some things done. well, andrew went out first. then i heard sterling go down stairs and out the door. which is fine, after all, andrew is outside. i'm doing the dishes and i feel the need to look outside....
this is what i see. only andrew is nailing the tin down and sterling starts to run around....niiiiiccceeee. i snap a few pictures as andrew walks sterling to the ladder. i sign help to andrew and he points to the basement. so i ran down stairs to see where garr was/ go out and help him get sterling down. i run right past garr, who was then "stuck" behind the door. i tell him sorry and slip on my boots to go get sterling.
you can see austin's new car in the above picture. he's pretty excited to have his own car. you can also see the back end (hee hee) of nancy's car. several people either came to the house looking for her or stopped me while i was out and asked if she or garr were here. all because of their car. if they ever come up here and don't want people to know they are going to have to park the bug in the shed.
andrew said that he was working and then he looked up and there was sterling at the top of the ladder. i'm not surprised by this at all. the last time andrew was up there with sterling outside, i found him half way up the ladder.
when sterling was running around all i could think was: thankfully the tin is not wet. otherwise he could easily slip and fall off that roof. another broken leg for sure!
