crawling

i saw sterling crawl today. it was only a couple of feet and still very jerky. but if he wants something bad enough he'll go for it. i was emptying the dishwasher and he pulled himself up on the door...he was a little shaky and i didn't want to rush him into town for splitting his skin open. so now i watch what he gets (no paper), what he can possibly pull himself up on, and how far his toys are away from him (close enough he feels he can get them but far enough away to make him work for it).
