labor day

the day has just started...well not really. we started out by sterling waking up at one something in the morning and getting back to bed about 2. i can't really remember. he woke up again at....7? got in bed with us and after a bite to eat, fell back to sleep. i read in bed, ate breakfast, then back to bed for more reading (because i can and andrew was up). sterling woke up, ate again then back to sleep. we got out of bed at 9.30. andrew had cut up all the rubarb that jay brought up and made a crisp and the rest went into the freezer.

they left to go put gas in the 4wheeler and go to the store. sterling and i put a load of laundry in(whites). so it's just me and my "labor of love" hanging out today. we were promised a 4wheeler ride today though. it's only a little after 11 so lots can still happen.

the rest of the day:
so andrew and jay came home, ate and hung out for a little while. they then went out to the dunes with andrew's boss, chris and his son, thad. they has three 4wheelers and a motorbike. even though they filled them up before they left, they ran out of gas in about 4 hours. they came home about 6, ate and then jay left for utah. we waited to see if beau and emmaly wanted us to come over...they did, but the reason we didn't hear from them until later in the evening is because emmaly got stung and had a reaction to it. so they had to go get that taken care of. we did end up hanging out with them until sterling said it was time to go home.
