happy 25th

now that it's almost been a month since my birthday, i don't really remember what i did that day. i think it was a pretty normal day. sterling and i hung out in the morning and then we had lunch. or maybe it was more of a snack. the time on the camera could be off though. anyway, sterling fell asleep while eating.  

here he is almost asleep. i had to keep a finger on the bowl so that he wouldn't tip it over with his hand. he actually fell asleep with his hand in the bowl! andrew came home for lunch. we were going to go to the malt shop, but since sterling was asleep we stayed home.

i got a package from my family and it came on my birthday. what timing! but it was filled with stuff for sterling. darn. oh well, he got the cute clothes above. they were all 4th of july themed. i'm not sure if he actually has his finger up his nose or not.

here is the cake that made. i also made chocolate muffins for another dessert. we had that a few days later. we had those muffins with strawberries and whip cream. they were both very good!
