HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

we can't believe that the little newborn boy above is one year old! now that it's two days later and i should be doing homework while sterling tries to go to sleep without nursing. wish i could go to bed.

we hung out in the morning (dad and grandpa J went into work to work on his brakes) and sterling took a nap. in the afternoon we hung out some more with the jensen grandparents. i was busy getting ready for the party, but everyone helped. nancy cut veggies, garr hung the banner, andrew and i blew up balloons. we also helped with the food.

we had a lot of family in town. andrew's aunt and uncle from CO where here to see carter plus two of their children, beau, emmaly and carter. another of dad's cousins (jessica from WA) that is here going to school. we also had some friends. adam, tari, nathan and caleb. megan, kevin owen. brad and evelyn also came, even though she had to leave early to go to work. that's a lot of people!

i think that we all had a good time. once everyone left we went to owen's birthday party. once again all the kids where boys. we don't have any girlfriends yet! after that we stopped by beau and emmaly's for a few mins. sterling had finally had enough. so we took him home and then we didn't sleep well. sterling kept getting up.

(this is the reason i got a lock for the dishwasher. he's taken that off too since it was only adhesive. so we now lock it but take the dial out so he can't turn it on.)
