MLK day

i should've posted this sooner. so on MLK day....i mean civil right's day, sterling had his one year check up. he's 19.something lbs and about 30 inches...i think. the sheet is in this room and he's in bed. anyway that puts him in the 7% for weight and 80% for height. the docter wasn't too worried about since he seems to be healthy and i'm tall and skinny. (what! ok skinny. but tall? well, andrew is. not that he's met him...) so some of it might come natually. he also go 6 shots. yes, 6. most kids don't have them spaced out enough for them to get the 6th one. sterling did. i normally just hold his hand during this process and it isn't hard for me. this time i got to hold down his legs, which was hard for me. i did think ahead and bring his meds with me. so before we left i gave him some. it was the only dose i gave him because we then went over to beau and emmaly's and he walked around quite a bit.

then yesturday, we went to the hopstial to have some blood work done. i guess you could call it that. they drew blood for a lead screening and a cell count (or soemthing like that).
