yeaturday, sterling had his one year check up for WIC. since it was thursday and i didn't have to go to head start, we went down to idaho falls that morning/afternoon. it always seems to take me longer than i think. so by the time we left we were cutting it close to making it to our appt. see, i had planned to be home way before our appt. it was at 4 and we left about 11...i think or maybe close to noon. anyway i left all the info i needed at home. so i had to go get it and come back into town.
as you may know WIC something you have to qualify for. it's based on income. they did the math. did it again. and again. both year to date and in the last 30 days. the lady seemed more worried about it than me. "your husband works at the same place." yes. "no other jobs." no. "you don't work?" no. "your husband makes X a month, which mean X a week." sure. it's not something i keep track of. she then went to get someone else. she goes over the numbers. well, we were over qualified by $6. which is kind of funny because it's not that much. i wasn't surprised by it. just $6.

Bummer! So now you don't qualify? $6 is not much.
