silliness

who knew our little boy would be so silly. i'm not talking about his shirt either. though this post is inspried by the way that i found him sleeping after this nap yesturday. i will fill you in on some of the things he does.

like the other night. andrew went into our room to get something and turned on the light to find sterling almost asleep in our bed. he had gotten out of his bed and instead of coming out to the living room he went and got in our bed.

another thing he does, is when we pray, he folds his arms. which is really cute. he will then, during the prayer start to eat. normally he keeps one arm folded and eats with the other one. he refolds his arms while he chews. once, he was sitting on andrew's lap and he started to chuckle. i was saying the prayer and wondered what sterling was doing. andrew said that he was eating, but was keeping his arms "folded". they were crossed at the wrists. he did it another time. it was pretty funny to watch. now you may wonder why we don't keep our eyes closed during a prayer, like we were taught. well, someone has to watch the troublemaker! besides, we would miss out on such moments like above.

lately has also liked to put on my shoes and walk around in them. he doesn't get very far, but he's getting better. they are flats, so they are easy for him to put on and take off. they also don't weigh very much. unlike andrew's shoes. which are harder for him to walk in.

i can't think of any other things right now.
