so andrew came "running" into the bedroom this morning where i was cuddling with sterling to tell me that there was a bear under the apple tree. it was still a little dark, i didn't really want to get up, but there was a bear in my backyard. besides, i knew that i wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep, so i might as well get up. sterling seemed to like looking at it.
it was too dark for awhile to take a picture, but he hung around long enough that it got light enough to take a few.

now, when i let sterling go outside, andrew said for me to make sure there is not bear out there. or in the tree. great.
