kink

my friend, alyssa found out that her cat was pregnant this summer. she wasn't really that excited about it. our cat rainbow last litter, at the time, hadn't made it. i told her that we would take one off her hands since we one had one cat at the time. rainbow got pregnant again and now had 2 kittens that are about 3 months old (i'm not sure). besides they don't let us near them. so we got this kitten last saturday. andrew wasn't all that excited to have her here, but sterling likes her a lot.

she is about 2 months old. we went over to alyssa's house to pick one out. i didn't really plan on coming home with one, but in the end i'm glad. you see, sterling loved being over there. he loved chasing the kittens, holding them, petting them etc. he cried when we put her in the box to bring her home. he didn't stop crying  until she escaped the box. we hadn't even left her drive way. sure she has a long driveway, but i could still see her house! oh boy. good thing we live close. he started to cry again when she left his lap, and i'm still in her driveway. so i grab her so that she doesn't go under the seats or something. i tell sterling that he needs to stop crying because it's scaring the kitten. he calms down and i set her in his lap. she ends up spending the rest of the trip home on sterling car seat, with his leg over her. it didn't seem to bother her and he was happy. there is always lots of crying when they are separated.

sterling likes to sit and hold her. he does pretty good with her.

kink. see, her name doesn't just come from nowhere. she has a kink in her tail. her mom also has a kink in her tail, but her hair is long enough that you can't see it. she had a sibling that looks like a tabby, black, white and brown stripes with an orange patch on it's forehead. the other one is an orange and white striped kitten with a super kinked tail.

they love hanging out and it will be fun to see how their relationship develops. oh i should also mention that she goes over the neighbors. so if she doesn't come when she is called. she must be over there. she has spent two nights over there.
