early head start

here's the only good picture i was able to get!

on sept 3rd quincey started at mission early head start! they were hoping to have an infant/toddler program this year and so i sent in an application for quincey to attend. we honestly didn't think that she would get accepted. we're not tribal, we're over income and she doesn't have any special needs. there are only 8 kids, which is great. she is the only one that i've seen so far, that is obviously white. while i'm sure that there are some half white kids, they don't look white. so maybe she got in because they needed her to attend in order to have enough kids to have the program. but whatever reason, it will be nice for her and me.

sterling hasn't started his class yet, so we took her on her first day. we stayed for almost 30 mins. then we came home and hung out until we had to go get her at 2.30pm. andrew took her the next two days and he said that she didn't cry when he would leave, but she was clingy. andrew takes her because her school starts at 8.30 and he has to be at work at the same time, so it makes sense to just have him take her. so she will be there monday-thursday from 8.30-2.30.
