misc of the kids

these trampoline pictures were taken sept 10th: 

sterling found a bag of cereal (quart sized) downstairs and for some reason decided to dump it out on the trampoline. the above picture was taken and then 3 mins later.....

the trampoline is the place to strip apparently. it happens often no matter how much we tell the kids to leave their clothes on! we let them jump naked until it was time to clean up or if they want to get off the tramp then they have to put their clothes back on. 

sterling cleaning up his mess with his favorite "toy". the cordless vacuum that i got for my birthday. my parents have the same vacuum and sterling learned how to use it while visiting them in june. it's the hoover linx cordless vacuum. nancy loved it when she was here. it's super easy to use...which i like and so does sterling. he can vacuum, empty the canister and make sure the battery is charged. pretty much everything to do with the vacuum. he can also use our kirby, but since it's a lot heavier it's not as easy for him to move around. 

sept 12th: 

we finally got quincey her own backpack. she picked it out too. it was 50% off at the children's place. she loves her backpack and knows how to zip and unzip it. i tried to get a picture of the back, but she wouldn't hold still.

already to head to school with dad!

sept14th:

sterling made his own lunch. a sandwich. i got him the bread and put the mayo on it for him. he put the meat and cheese on himself. he will eat lettuce on his sandwiches but not tomato. he's looking at one of our calvin and hobbs comic books. which i still think are funny. 

very proud of his sandwich. he ate the whole thing too! you only see half of it here. we have also given him a hair cut. it did without andrew and i nicked him twice because he wasn't holding still. though i didn't draw any blood.
