marks of motherhood

i'm not talking about the stretch marks either. or the half done make up or frizzy hair...wait i've always had that. no, i'm talking about how we'll give our child something to make them quiet when in public...ok so these are taken at home.

i got this wallet in july. i would stick it in the carseat with sterling. it was easy and i knew where it was. he would sometimes find it and use to for entertainment and to chew on. i noticed, the day i took these pictures, that he had done some damage. see:

i know because of the shine it's hard to see, but it's there. it's gotten worse and i've tried to keep it out of his hands, but then he's upset and you're almost done. it makes for a nice distraction.
