it was a nice day saturday, oct 10th. i thought we should go and get some pumpkins because if we didn't do it saturday, then it would be another week before we could get a chance. we could do it after andrew gets home, but that makes it pretty late for sterling.
here we are heading over to the patch. lucky us there is one across the street. sure it doesn't have all the other things pumpkin patches have, but we help out some neighbors and we don't have to drive anywhere (except to go pay for them...down the street a little). sterling didn't want to look into the sun. it was pretty bright out.

checking out the pumpkin.

he got some of the vine in his hand was while checking it out up close...this also means eating it. don't worry andrew stopped him. please excuse the ad on sterling, andrew's co-worker put the keychain on his zipper pull and i left it there because he likes to chew on it. i love the way he looks in his hat. it was only $2 at walmart. still looking for a coat, but found a lands end snowsuit (18mo) for $4.25 at mommy 'n' me that morning.

sterling and his pumpkin. it cost 75 cents.

here's the patch. quite a few pumpkins, but i'm sure they won't last long. our place is to my left.

our pumpkins. they cost a little over $5 for the two of them. nice. we'll carve them about a week before halloween so they don't get all mushy.
once we were done with that. we came home and had dinner then got ready and headed to green canyon hot springs. i was looking foward to it being nice and warm like it was last time. it wasn't, it was like warm bath water. sterling did well. we stayed for about 2 hours and he even liked the hot pool, though we were out there for long. sterling slept on the way there and back.
